Old skool

To celebrate the relaunch of Dublins courier 'zine, Rubberside Down, and the fact that I just bought a new scanner, I'm gonna put all the old covers online for your perusal.

There weren't that many, but they were all great.

The 1st incarnation was SETI, launched in October of 2000. This lasted for 3 issues, and came at a time when Dublins messenger community was finally awakening and realising it's self-worth. Thanks to the burgeoning alleycat scene and the more social nature of this generation of couriers, the community galvanized and went on to organise ECMC 2002.

Not long before the release of these 'zines not many Dublin Messengers knew what an alleycat was, let alone the fact that there was a whole world of messengers out there who shared a common existence.

These 'zines defined an important moment in the evolution of our community and it's nice to be able to share them with you.

As soon as I get another burst of energy I'll start uploading the previous incarnation of Rubberside Down and some old Dublin messenger memorabilia I have knocking about.
